Our Commitment to Accessibility

At Robots for the Blind, digital accessibility isn't just a technical requirement—it's central to our mission. As an organization dedicated to empowering the blind community through advanced assistive technology, we understand that our own digital presence must be fully accessible to everyone.

We are committed to conforming with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities and more usable for everyone.

We believe accessibility is an ongoing journey, not a destination. We continuously test, evaluate, and improve our website to ensure it meets the highest accessibility standards.

Known Limitations

Despite our best efforts, there may be some limitations. We are aware of the following:

  • Third-party embedded content (such as social media feeds or donation platforms) may not be fully under our control and might not meet the same accessibility standards. We work with vendors who prioritize accessibility.
  • PDF documents — We are working to ensure all downloadable PDFs are properly tagged and accessible. If you encounter an inaccessible PDF, please contact us and we will provide an accessible alternative format.
  • Video content — We are committed to providing captions and transcripts for all video content. If you find a video without these, please let us know.

We are actively working to address these limitations and welcome your feedback on any accessibility barriers you encounter.

Third-Party Content

Some content and services on our website are provided by third parties, including:

  • Payment processing (Stripe)
  • Social media embeds (LinkedIn, X/Twitter, YouTube)
  • Email services

While we choose vendors who prioritize accessibility, we cannot guarantee that all third-party content meets WCAG 2.1 Level AA standards. We continuously evaluate our vendors and advocate for accessibility improvements.

Testing & Review: This website was last reviewed for accessibility in December 2025. We conduct regular accessibility audits using both automated tools (WAVE, axe DevTools) and manual testing with screen readers and keyboard navigation. Our next scheduled review is planned for Q2 2026.
